The Drug and Alcohol Testing for CDL Drivers course is an online resource that provides a comprehensive insight into the drug and alcohol testing mandate and its implications for transportation personnel. It’s a widespread understanding that alcohol, drugs, and driving are a lethal combination. Despite this, intoxicated drivers continue to cause a significant number of accidents. The Federal Transportation Employee Testing Act has mandated motor carriers to implement stringent drug and alcohol testing programs to ensure commercial vehicle drivers remain sober while on the road. <\/p>\n

The Drug and Alcohol Testing for CDL Drivers course covers all aspects including DOT and FMCSA drug and alcohol regulations, the basics of drug and alcohol testing, the testing procedure, removal and return-to-duty policies for CDL drivers, substance abuse, and how to seek assistance, among other topics.<\/p>\n
