Workplace falls are among the primary reasons for injuries and fatalities. Fortunately, there exists a multitude of fall protection systems designed to mitigate these hazards and injuries. However, these fall protection methods can only prove beneficial if used correctly. Our Fall Protection program is structured to impart you with the essential skills needed for the successful utilization, inspection, and strategy planning for fall protection.<\/p>\n

COURSE TOPICS<\/b><\/div>\n

The Fall Protection program encompasses the following subjects:<\/span><\/p>\n

  • Fall hazards<\/li>\n
  • The application and function of different fall protection systems<\/li>\n
  • The legislative significance of fall protection<\/li>\n
  • Selection of an anchor<\/li>\n
  • The role and operation of full body harnesses<\/li>\n
  • The five categories of full body harnesses<\/li>\n
  • Prerequisites for connecting hardware<\/li>\n
  • The applications of diverse connecting devices<\/li>\n
  • The role and operation of shock absorbers<\/li>\n
  • The risks associated with incorrect usage of various fall protection system components<\/li>\n
  • Maximum arrest force<\/li>\n
  • Estimation of free fall distance and clearance<\/li>\n
  • Basic inspection and care regulations<\/li>\n
  • Procedures to wear a full body harness<\/li>\n
  • Basic guidelines for fall protection plans, rescue strategizing, and preventing suspension trauma<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    To successfully complete this course, you need to score a minimum of 70% in each chapter. Each chapter can be attempted multiple times to achieve the required score.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Upon successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing. Please note that in certain jurisdictions, additional practical evaluation on equipment may be demanded to assure regulatory compliance.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p>\n
