  • Understand the significance of scheduling and the use of suitable scheduling tools<\/li>\n
  • Manage expectations and adjust communication accordingly<\/li>\n
  • Understand the project components – labour, materials and overheads – and the techniques to maximize profitability and minimize costs<\/li>\n
  • Perform post-mortem analysis post project completion<\/li>\n
  • Understand the impact and methods of construction cost control<\/li>\n

  • Use Construction Industry Codes to compare costs against budget<\/li>\n
