This course is the first of a two-part series, with the second being a classroom-based program. The course will deliver engaging, innovative content to efficiently communicate complex technical and safety information. Participants in the course will gain the knowledge and tools needed to recognize, identify, and evaluate site hazards, and will be empowered with the terminology and confidence to effectively communicate any observed concerns.<\/p>\n<p><span>It\u2019s highly recommended that you undertake Ground Disturbance training prior to engaging with this course. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Additional training to be contemplated:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span>Risk Assessment\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Confined Space\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>Protection contre les chutes\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>H2S Awareness<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span>All of these courses are offered as eLearning modules by AMHSA.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\" style=\"font-size: 18.0px\"><span style=\"font-size: 18.0px;float: none\"><b><b>COURSE TOPICS<\/b><\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\">In the Trenchless Underground Construction Awareness Online course, you will learn about:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The history of trenchless underground construction including the municipal use of trenchless technologies\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Trenchless underground construction methodologies and technology\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Applicable legislation and standards, procedures, and best practices\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Roles and responsibilities\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Trenchless underground construction hazards and controls including a review and application of the Energy Based Hazard Assessment methodology\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Emergency planning considerations\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>On site communication and application of course content\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"title-bar\" style=\"font-size: 18.0px\"><span style=\"font-size: 18.0px;float: none\"><b><b>ONLINE COURSE DURATION<\/b><\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\"><span style=\"font-size: 14.0px;float: none\">Roughly 2 hours<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\" style=\"font-size: 18.0px\"><span style=\"font-size: 18.0px;float: none\"><b><b>PASS MARK<\/b><\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\">The online course includes testing designed to reinforce the information presented. To pass, you must achieve a score of 80%. The course can be attempted up to three times to achieve the pass mark.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\" style=\"font-size: 18.0px\"><span style=\"font-size: 18.0px;float: none\"><b><b>CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION<\/b><\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\">Upon successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing.\u00a0It\u2019s suggested to retake this course every 3 years from the completion date shown on the certificate.<\/p>\n<p
