While X-Rays are generally considered safe when used appropriately, serious health issues, including cancer, severe hypotension, and cardiac arrest, can arise from inappropriate use and overexposure. Consequently, it is crucial for both students and faculty to receive adequate safety training for their protection. The primary objective of the &#8220;X-Ray Safety&#8221; course is to promote the secure handling of X-Rays within the confines of a laboratory setting.<\/p>\n<p>After successfully completing the &#8220;X-Ray Safety&#8221; course, participants should have an improved understanding of:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The process by which X-rays are generated<\/li>\n<li>Different types of x-ray producing devices and their classifications<\/li>\n<li>The significance of state and\/or local departmental participation in the regulation of radiation-producing devices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;float: none\">SUJETS DU COURS<\/span><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>X-Ray Basics<\/li>\n<li>X-Ray Risks<\/li>\n<li>S\u00e9curit\u00e9 radiologique<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;float: none\">DUR\u00c9E DU COURS EN LIGNE<\/span><\/div>\n<p><b><br \/><\/b><\/p>\n<p>Estimation 20 minutes<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\"><span style=\"font-size: 18px;float: none\">Note de passage<\/span><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Assessments conducted throughout this online course aim to consolidate the knowledge gained. Participants are expected to attain a score of 80% to qualify for a certificate of completion.
