Module 1 \u2013 Introduction to Utility Advanced Line Locating<\/p>\n

    Module 2 \u2013 Locator Requests & Locator Responsibilities<\/p>\n

    • Identify locate requests.<\/li>\n
    • Identify Locator responsibilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Module 3 \u2013 Locating Procedures<\/p>\n

      • Explain locating procedures.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

        Module 4 \u2013 Locating Fundamentals<\/p>\n

          \n
        • Describe the theory of electromagnetic locating.<\/li>\n
        • Explain frequencies and transmitter signals.<\/li>\n
        • Explain receiver signals and antenna configurations.<\/li>\n
        • Discuss signal distortion.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

          Tests will be conducted throughout this online course to reinforce the knowledge acquired. A minimum score of 80% is required to obtain a completion certificate. If the minimum score is not achieved, participants can retake the course as many times as needed. <\/p>\n

          Upon successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing. The certificate is valid for 3 years from the course completion date indicated on the certificate.<\/p>\n
