Born out of insights from various sectors, this novel online Locating and Marking course, of 0.25 days duration (up to 2 hours), is devoted to fostering locating and marking skills and attitudes. This e-learning module outlines Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) and the role of locating within SUE. It deciphers locate marks and rules for marking operator facilities. The course further touches upon electromagnetic locating techniques, hindrances, and tracing complications.<\/p>\n

It’s designed for everyone, including supervisors, ground disturbers, excavators, project managers, locators, and other staff who need a fundamental understanding of locating and how to mark underground utilities or interpret locate marks. <\/span><\/p>\n
