The Silica Safety in Industrial and Construction Environments online course aims to emphasize the risks associated with silica dust and provide a comprehensive guide to the OSHA regulations for industrial and construction sectors. It also focuses on teaching employees the measures they can take to safeguard themselves from silica dust in their workplaces.<\/p>\n

Exposure to silica dust can lead to serious health complications, and in some extreme cases, can be fatal. Annually, more than two million workers come into contact with this substance in their line of work. To protect these workers, OSHA’s Silica Safety Rule has put in place stringent standards.<\/p>\n
