According to the Worldwide Health Organization, falls rank second in unintentional injury deaths, tallying around 650,000 annually. These figures encompass falls from heights as well as those occurring on the same level. Besides causing fatalities, falls trigger injuries leading to significant expenditure for the victim and the organization. Employers and employees can contribute significantly towards reducing the instances and impact of slips, trips, and falls. In this context, our course titled ‘Walkway Safety for Employees’ plays a crucial role.<\/p>\n

The online ‘Walkway Safety for Employees’ course delves into the following subjects:<\/b>\u00a0<\/p>\n

  • Module 1: Foundations of Walkway Safety<\/li>\n
  • Module 2: Hazard Recognition<\/li>\n
  • Module 3: Hazard Prevention & Incident Response<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Upon completion of the ‘Walkway Safety for Employees’ course, you will be equipped to:<\/b><\/p>\n

    • Differentiate between a slip, trip, stumble, and air step<\/li>\n
    • Classify the two primary risk categories influencing slips, trips, and falls<\/li>\n
    • Understand the varying expenses related to falls within the workspace<\/li>\n
    • Spot common environmental elements elevating the risk of falling<\/li>\n
    • Identify typical behavioral aspects exacerbating the fall risk<\/li>\n
    • Summarize the proactive steps taken by employers to curb fall incidents<\/li>\n
    • Identify the measures employees can implement to mitigate walkway hazards at the workplace<\/li>\n
    • Outline the appropriate reaction to a fall incident<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      ONLINE COURSE DURATION<\/b><\/div>\n

      <\/p>\n

      The course ‘Walkway Safety for Employees’ is designed to be completed in approximately 45 minutes<\/p>\n

      <\/p>\n

      PASS MARK<\/b><\/div>\n

      <\/p>\n

      Evaluations conducted throughout this online course aim to reinforce the imparted information. To pass this course, a score of 80% is required. Participants are allowed three attempts to achieve the pass mark. A comprehensive student manual, which doubles up as a reference for future use and knowledge retention, is available for print.<\/p>\n

      On successful completion of this online course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing.<\/p>\n
