Implement and execute a Semiconductor Hazardous Energy Control program in your organization using lockout\/tagout procedures while servicing equipment or tools in the fabrication facility.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Unplanned energization of semiconductor fabrication equipment during maintenance or servicing can be fatal. Enroll in this course to understand how lockout\/tagout procedures ensure everyone&#8217;s safety and make those who perform maintenance and servicing completely responsible for their safety. This course is particularly beneficial for semiconductor fabrication workers, especially authorized employees.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\"><b>COURSE TOPICS<\/b><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>This online Semiconductor Hazardous Energy Control course covers the following topics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Semiconductor Hazardous Energy Control Part 1: Safety Awareness<\/li>\n<li>Semiconductor Hazardous Energy Control Part 2: Safety Protection\u00a0\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Semiconductor Hazardous Energy Control Part 3: Lockout\/Tagout Procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>At the conclusion of this course, you will be able to:\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recognize the forms of hazardous energy that may exist in semiconductor fabrication environments<\/li>\n<li>Understand the aim of a Semiconductor Hazardous Energy Control program<\/li>\n<li>Identify the requirements for employers to establish and implement a hazardous energy control program<\/li>\n<li>Understand the duties of the three types of employee roles involved in a hazardous energy control program<\/li>\n<li>Select the appropriate energy isolation method for various forms of hazardous energies<\/li>\n<li>Discern between devices that do and do not isolate energy<\/li>\n<li>Differentiate between energy isolating devices that can and can&#8217;t be locked out<\/li>\n<li>Understand the usage of lockout devices and adapters<\/li>\n<li>Acknowledge SEMI S2 guidelines for safety interlock systems<\/li>\n<li>Recognize SEMI S2 guidelines for hazardous energy isolation<\/li>\n<li>Sequence the steps in the lockout\/tagout procedure<\/li>\n<li>Identify the requirements for each stage of an effective lockout\/tagout program<\/li>\n<li>Determine the steps to be taken after maintenance completion<\/li>\n<li>Understand when and how group LOTO may be used<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\"><b>ONLINE COURSE DURATION<\/b><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Approximately 60 minutes<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\"><b>PASS MARK<\/b><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Testing conducted in the course of this online training is designed to reinforce the information provided.
