The SPCC regulation was established to mitigate oil spills at facilities, protecting US navigable waters. This Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) course offers employees a comprehensive overview of the SPCC requirements. It is particularly useful for those involved in oil transfer, handling, storage, spill response, or maintenance of oil equipment.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\"><b>COURSE TOPICS<\/b><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>This online Spill Prevention, Control and Countermeasure (SPCC) course delves into the following areas of interest:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>SPCC Requirements and Objectives<\/li>\n<li>Various Oils and Releases<\/li>\n<li>Countermeasures for Spills<\/li>\n<li>Cleanup Procedures and Reporting<\/li>\n<li>Preventing Spills<\/li>\n<li>Responding to Spills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div><\/div>\n<p>Upon completion of this course, you should be able to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Outline the general requirements and objectives of an SPCC plan<\/li>\n<li>Recognize the potential types and sources of oils and oil products as per the regulations<\/li>\n<li>Delineate the steps to be followed when a spill occurs<\/li>\n<li>Provide instances of measures to prevent spills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\"><b>ONLINE COURSE DURATION<\/b><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Duration: Roughly 30 minutes<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\"><b>PASS MARK<\/b><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Throughout this online module, testing is carried out to reinforce the lessons taught. A score of 80% is required to pass this course. Participants have up to three attempts to achieve the passing score.
