The logging sector is recognized as one of the most dangerous in the U.S. The cost of treating chainsaw-related injuries reaches an astonishing $350 million each year. In addition, many loggers tragically lose their lives while working. This ‘Logging and Chainsaw Safety’ course is designed to teach workers about the potential risks associated with their industry and how to implement safety measures to mitigate these risks.<\/p>\n

      The course includes continuous testing to ensure the materials are understood. A score of 80% is required to pass the course. You have the opportunity to retake the course three times to achieve the pass mark. A detailed student manual is available for printing and can serve as a useful resource for future reference.<\/p>\n
