Every day, countless excavation and trenching activities are being carried out in various environmental conditions. Unfortunately, these activities are often linked to numerous workplace injuries and even fatalities. Cave-ins are a common incident, occurring abruptly and giving workers limited time to respond. However, by adhering to proper safety measures, these incidents are largely preventable. This Excavation and Trenching Safety – International course is designed to significantly elevate your understanding and awareness of safety protocols associated with your workplace. It is ideally suited for employees who are directly or indirectly involved in excavation and trenching activities.<\/p>\n

Our online course, Excavation and Trenching Safety – International, explores the following areas:<\/p>\n

    By the conclusion of this course, participants will be able to:<\/p>\n

    • Identify and explain the hazards related to excavation and trenching activities<\/li>\n
    • Understand soil mechanics and identify conditions that increase the possibility of a cave-in<\/li>\n
    • Understand the role and responsibilities of the Competent Person<\/li>\n
    • Detail four different types of protection systems<\/li>\n
    • Discuss safety precautions and emergency response procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      ONLINE COURSE DURATION<\/b><\/div>\n

      <\/p>\n

      The course duration is approximately 30 minutes<\/p>\n

      <\/p>\n

      PASS MARK<\/b><\/div>\n

      <\/p>\n

      This online course includes tests designed to reinforce the material presented. To pass this course, a mark of 80% must be achieved. Participants can attempt the course up to three times to achieve the pass mark. A comprehensive student manual, which can be printed, is also available. This manual serves as a valuable resource for future reference and knowledge retention.<\/p>\n

      Upon successfully completing this online course, a certificate of completion will be available for download and printing.<\/p>\n
