COURSE OVERVIEW<\/b><\/div>\n

The semiconductor industry involves daily interaction with hazardous chemicals. The first segment of this course on Semiconductor Chemical Safety will help learners understand the Globally Harmonized System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS) to ensure their safe handling. In the second segment, you will gain insights on how to store, use, and dispose of hazardous chemicals and the necessary steps to take during a hazardous chemical incident. The third segment will educate you about the specific attributes, dangers, and safety precautions associated with each chemical. Enroll in this course to gain knowledge about these chemicals and learn how to shield yourself. In the fourth segment, you will study nine of the categories, their nature, and the emergency procedures related to them. The final segment focuses on hazardous gases used in semiconductor fabrication facilities, usually stored outside the manufacturing area and piped into the processing equipment. A unintentional release of any gas could lead to injury or death. In this course, you will get to know about the gases used, the risks they pose, and the controls implemented to protect workers. This course is particularly beneficial for semiconductor employees.<\/p>\n
