The Laboratory Hoods online course we offer is designed to highlight the correct usage and testing methods of laboratory hoods. It further elaborates on the crucial role these hoods play in protecting your experiments, facilities, and most importantly, the personnel involved. In a laboratory setting, many materials emit fumes, mists, vapors, particulates, or aerosols that are hazardous in nature. Reducing exposure to such materials is vital and often requires working within a hood. Our Laboratory Hoods course provides essential insight into this.<\/p>\n

    Periodic testing throughout the Laboratory Hoods online course is designed to reinforce the information delivered. A minimum score of 80% is required to pass the course. Participants can attempt the course up to three times to achieve the passing score. Printable resources, including a comprehensive student manual, are available. This manual serves as a useful resource for future reference and knowledge consolidation.<\/p>\n
