The Understanding Chemical Hazards course, a part of the HAZWOPER Annual Retraining Series, familiarizes employees with chemical hazard regulations and offers instruction concerning various types of hazardous chemicals found in industrial settings. The presence of hazardous materials and waste is common in several work situations and can be found across a range of job locations. As such, it is crucial for employees to have the capability to identify these potentially harmful substances, and know the correct methods of handling and disposing of them.
