This web-based Introduction to HAZWOPER Retraining course is formulated to assist establishments in aligning with OSHA’s HAZWOPER regulation (29 CFR 1910.120). In line with these regulations, there are diverse requirements for employee training, all of which hinge on an employee’s specific interaction with hazardous materials. The course… an integral part of the HAZWOPER Annual Retraining Series… is designed to remind employees handling hazardous materials about the significance of identifying, assessing and managing chemical hazards. Hazardous materials and waste are a common feature in numerous workplaces and can be found at a variety of job sites. Recognizing these potentially harmful substances and knowing how to manage and dispose of them correctly is so crucial that OSHA stipulates anyone dealing with these substances must receive extensive training in this area, such as the one offered in the Introduction to HAZWOPER Retraining course.<\/p>\n
