The HAZWOPER: Personal Protective Equipment course, delivered online, aims to support organizations in their compliance with OSHA’s HAZWOPER regulation (29 CFR 1910.120). As per these regulations, there are different levels of training requirements for employees, based on their interaction with hazardous materials. The HAZWOPER: Personal Protective Equipment course provides instructions on the correct usage of personal protective gear such as chemical protective clothing, and also on how to effectively remove contaminants that gather on the clothing and equipment. Numerous workplaces encounter hazardous materials and waste, and it is crucial that employees can identify these potentially harmful substances, as well as know the correct procedures for handling and disposing of them. OSHA mandates comprehensive training in this area for anyone working with these materials.<\/p>\n
