This web-based course on Lead Exposure in Construction Environments equips workers with the necessary knowledge to understand and manage lead hazards as well as the safety regulations that govern them. The course further elaborates on how to identify potential lead hazards in the workplace and the best practices to safely deal with them. Key areas of discussion include the health implications of lead exposure, the OSHA Lead Standards for Construction, compliance programs, risk evaluation and monitoring, PPE and respiratory protection, cleanliness and decontamination, medical surveillance, and removal procedures. <\/p>\n
