In this digital Walking and Working Surfaces course, participants will learn to recognize the potential dangers posed by various surfaces and acquire practical knowledge and detailed procedures to help avoid slips, trips, and falls in the workplace. It may seem trivial to pay attention to the surfaces we walk and work on, but such oversight can lead to severe consequences. These surfaces are essential as they help us maintain proper posture, efficiently utilize our muscles, maintain balance, and ensure our safety at work. Despite this, slips, trips, and falls constitute a significant portion of workplace accidents, causing nearly 20% of occupational injuries that lead to disability, and thousands of fatalities annually. The vast majority of these incidents could have been averted with proper training.<\/p>\n

The manual is a valuable resource for future use and knowledge retention.<\/p>\n
