Our online Heat Stress course delves into the effects of heat on the human body, the precautions employees can take to avert heat stress, and basic first aid to be administered to a worker affected by a heat-induced illness. Every year, thousands of workers experience the negative effects of heat stress. These workers, who may be working outdoors under the intense heat of the summer sun, or indoors where equipment and machinery emit high levels of heat, need to be educated on how to identify and avoid heat stress and other heat-related health issues.<\/p>\n
