The course covers various aspects including site characterization, the site control program, and other control measures.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\"><span style=\"font-size: 18.0px;float: none\"><b>COURSE TOPICS<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<div><\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-size: 14.0px\">\n<li>Uncontrolled Site<\/li>\n<li>Hazard Types<\/li>\n<li>Controlling Site Hazards<\/li>\n<li>Preliminary Evaluation<\/li>\n<li>Site Characterization<\/li>\n<li>Site Control Program<\/li>\n<li>Site Work Zones<\/li>\n<li>Site Security<\/li>\n<li>Medical Assistance<\/li>\n<li>And more<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<p><br style=\"font-size: 14.0px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong style=\"font-size: 14.0px\"><b>Upon completion of the HAZWOPER: Site Control Measures course, learners will be able to:<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-size: 14.0px\">\n<li>Explain the steps taken to assess and prepare a hazardous waste site for worker occupation, including understanding the potential hazards and the stages of site characterization<\/li>\n<li>Explain the purpose of a site control program and the importance of each component, such as the site map, work zones, the buddy system, site security, communications, and medical assistance<\/li>\n<li>Identify actions that contribute to site control within the hierarchy of controls, like hazard elimination or substitution, engineering controls, administrative controls, safe work practices, and personal protective equipment (PPE)<\/li>\n<li>Understand other control measures including fire protection, sanitation, and the use of new technology<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\"><span style=\"font-size: 18.0px;float: none\"><b>ONLINE COURSE DURATION<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\"><b><b><br \/><\/b><\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\">Roughly 60 minutes<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\"><span style=\"font-size: 18.0px;float: none\"><b>PASS MARK<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\">The testing conducted in this online course aims to reinforce the information provided.
