COURSE OVERVIEW<\/b><\/div>\n

In Canada, the safe transportation of hazardous materials is governed by both federal and provincial laws. It is a legal requirement for anyone engaged in the handling, suggesting for transport, or transporting dangerous goods to have undergone a course on Transportation of Dangerous Goods – TDG.<\/p>\n

After finishing this course, you will have a better understanding of the significance of adhering to the regulations for the transportation of dangerous goods. <\/p>\n

Though dangerous goods can be moved via road, rail, air, or water, this specific course on Transportation of Dangerous Goods – TDG only emphasizes the laws for land-based transportation of dangerous goods. There are nine types of dangerous goods, and after completing this course, you will be permitted to handle all except Classes 1, 6.2, and 7 as these require additional training.<\/p>\n

It is recommended to consult your supervisor or employer regarding any special equipment, or any site-specific or job-specific training you might need for the transportation of dangerous goods.<\/p>\n

Upon course completion, you will be required to take the final test. A minimum score of 80% is required to obtain a certificate of completion. If you don’t succeed on the first attempt, you can retake the test until you pass.<\/p>\n

    Throughout this online course on Transportation of Dangerous Goods – TDG, testing is used to reinforce the knowledge imparted. A pass mark of 80% is needed to secure a certificate of completion.
