The course meets the standards outlined in the COAA Canadian Model for Providing a Safe Workplace.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\">  <span style=\"font-size: 18.0px;float: none\"><b>COURSE TOPICS<\/b><\/span>   <\/div>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\">Upon successful completion of this course, participants will:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-size: 14.0px\">\n<li>Gain an understanding of impairment and the terminology related to impairment awareness<\/li>\n<li>Learn about cannabis, alcohol, and other drugs, along with their effects on users<\/li>\n<li>Acquire knowledge on best practices for maintaining high impairment awareness at workplaces<\/li>\n<li>Receive information on impaired driving<\/li>\n<li>Learn how to respond to impairment incidents<\/li>\n<li>Understand the procedures for documenting reasonable cause and initiating testing<\/li>\n<li>Appreciate the significance of confidentiality and proper record-keeping<\/li>\n<li>Recognize when and why impairment testing is necessary<\/li>\n<li>Receive tips and timelines for post-incident testing<\/li>\n<li>Understand when and why drug testing is needed for reasonable cause<\/li>\n<li>Learn about the testing process<\/li>\n<li>Understand who holds the responsibility for testing<\/li>\n<li>Be enlightened on the importance of updating policies and which updates should be prioritized<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div> <\/div>\n<div class=\"title-bar\">  <span style=\"font-size: 18.0px;float: none\"><b>ONLINE COURSE DURATION<\/b><\/span>   <\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\">Around 45 minutes<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\">  <span style=\"font-size: 18.0px;float: none\"><b>PASS MARK<\/b><\/span>   <\/div>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\">Throughout the &#8220;Cannabis &amp; the Workplace: Impairment Awareness for Employers&#8221; online course, testing is conducted to reinforce the knowledge acquired. To earn a certificate of completion, a minimum score of 70% is required.
