This high-impact, multi-course program focuses on the fundamentals of emergency response operations (HAZWOPER) at an awareness level. By educating awareness-level responders on how to detect the presence of a hazardous substance and rapidly identify it in a release situation, the HAZWOPER: Hazardous Substance Recognition & Identification course lays a solid foundation for the following efforts of the HAZMAT team. This knowledge can help avoid panic, prevent casualties, and reduce damage.<\/p>\n

Our online HAZWOPER: Hazardous Substance Recognition & Identification course aims to teach learners the techniques and resources for recognizing and identifying hazardous substances. It also covers the application of the Emergency Response Guidebook (ERG) and, in emergencies, the potential threats of hazardous substances, risk assessment methodologies, and the criticality of initial decision-making.<\/p>\n

Upon course completion, learners will be proficient in the following areas:<\/b><\/strong><\/p>\n
