When employees are dealing with hazardous substances, their crucial line of defense is the personal protective equipment (PPE) and chemical protective clothing (CPC) they don. Chemical overexposure can lead to serious health conditions and injuries, even death. <\/p>\n

Our HAZWOPER: Personal Protective Equipment and Clothing course stresses the importance of PPE and CPC designed to shield employees from chemical, physical, and biological dangers when other safety measures are insufficient. It’s critical to note, however, that safety clothing and gear can also present risks, such as heat stress and restricted vision. Thus, equipping employees with the knowledge to choose the most suitable safety clothing or gear for a given situation is paramount.<\/p>\n

This HAZWOPER training course aims to educate learners about the diverse array of PPE and CPC, including their functionalities and limitations, levels of defense, the correct method to wear and remove the gear, and the significance of appropriate storage, inspection, and maintenance.<\/p>\n
