This standard enforces regulations for weights and dimensions of commercial vehicles that traverse provinces and territories.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\">The program originated in February 1988 when the Council of Ministers, in charge of transportation and highway safety, approved a memorandum of understanding aiming to enhance uniformity in regulations governing weights and dimensions of commercial vehicles across provinces and territories. Since its inception, the program has undergone eight amendments, with the latest one rolled out in 2014.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\">This course not only offers a comprehensive understanding of the Canadian Heavy Truck Weight and Dimension Program, but also focuses on the various aspects in which the regulations differ across provinces.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\"><span style=\"font-size: 14.0px;float: none\">The program is the brainchild of Dr. Randy Flemmer, a seasoned professional with over three decades of experience in driver education and fleet safety.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\">  <span style=\"font-size: 18.0px;float: none\"><b>COURSE TOPICS<\/b><\/span>   <\/div>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\">This course covers the following topics:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"font-size: 14.0px\">\n<li>Category 1: Semi Trailer<\/li>\n<li>Category 1A Tridem Drive Semi Trailer<\/li>\n<li>Category 2: A Train Double<\/li>\n<li>Category 3: B Train Double<\/li>\n<li>Category 4: C Train Double<\/li>\n<li>Category 5: Straight Truck<\/li>\n<li>Category 6: Truck \u2013 Pony Combination<\/li>\n<li>Category 7: Truck \u2013 Full Trailer Combination<\/li>\n<li>Category 8: Intercity Bus and Recreational Vehicles<\/li>\n<li>Additional Conditions<\/li>\n<li>Liftable Axles<\/li>\n<li>Aerodynamic Devices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div> <\/div>\n<div class=\"title-bar\">  <span style=\"font-size: 18.0px;float: none\"><b>ONLINE COURSE DURATION<\/b><\/span>   <\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\">Estimated duration of 60 minutes<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\"><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\">  <span style=\"font-size: 18.0px;float: none\"><b>PASS MARK<\/b><\/span>   <\/div>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\"><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-size: 14.0px\">Continuous testing throughout this online course is designed to reinforce the material presented. A score of 80% is required to earn a certificate of completion. Should the pass mark not be achieved on the first attempt, participants can retake the course twice.
