This can lead to minor irritations in the eye and skin or severe injuries, including burns and blindness. As a response to this, OSHA mandates employers to equip workplaces with necessary facilities such as emergency showers and eyewash stations for employees to access immediately while on duty.<\/p>\n<p>The online course on Emergency Eyewash &amp; Shower Use aims to familiarize users with the functionalities of emergency eye washes and showers and the methods to ensure their easy accessibility.<\/p>\n<p><strong>On completing the Emergency Eyewash &amp; Shower Use course, learners should:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understand the purpose and usage of emergency eye washes &amp; showers<\/li>\n<li>Be familiar with the type and temperature of the flushing fluid used in the emergency eyewashes and showers.<\/li>\n<li>Recognize ways to identify and ensure immediate access to and usage of the stations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\"><b>COURSE TOPICS<\/b><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The Emergency Eyewash &amp; Shower Use course covers the following points:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Emergency Facilities<\/li>\n<li>Insight into the flushing fluid<\/li>\n<li>Identifying locations of and ensuring brisk access to the stations<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\"><b>ONLINE COURSE DURATION<\/b><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Estimated time of completion: 30 minutes<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\"><b>PASS MARK<\/b><\/div>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>A score of 80% is required to pass the Emergency Eyewash &amp; Shower Use course.
