COURSE OVERVIEW<\/b><\/div>\n

The responsibility of ensuring workplace safety is a collective one, shared between employers and their employees. According to the General Duty Clause, (Section 5(a)(1) of the OSH Act of 1970,) OSHA necessitates that employers ensure a safe workspace for their employees. However, employees must also stay vigilant about potential hazards, take necessary precautions to prevent or eradicate them, and report any unsafe conditions immediately.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Our course, Workplace Safety Basics: Work Environment, aims to equip learners with a broad understanding of numerous workplace safety measures and topics. It specifically offers an introduction to several engineering controls that can contribute to a safer work environment.<\/p>\n

    The course includes tests throughout to reinforce the knowledge gained. A minimum score of 80% is required to successfully complete the course. Participants can attempt the course up to three times to achieve the passing score. A comprehensive student manual is available for download and future reference.<\/p>\n
