The ‘Safety Audits in the Workplace’ is an online course that aims to educate employees on the objectives and steps involved in a safety audit. It guides them on how they can actively participate in the audit process, and it also highlights specific safety work practices. Workplace safety cannot be left to chance or learned through trial and error, especially when the lives and health of employees are at risk. That’s why organizations prioritizing safety have adopted a more proactive approach by conducting safety audits. These are systematic inspections of workplaces with the aim of identifying hazards so they can be eliminated or controlled. The ‘Safety Audits in the Workplace’ course covers a wide range of areas including workplace analysis, administrative and engineering controls, personal protective equipment, equipment maintenance program, emergency response procedures, accident investigation, safety self-assessment, and much more.<\/p>\n

    Throughout this online course, tests are conducted to reinforce the presented information. To pass this course, a score of 80% must be achieved. The course can be taken three times in attempts to reach the pass mark. Printable resources in the form of a comprehensive student manual are available. The manual serves as a great resource for future use and for retaining knowledge.<\/p>\n
