In this online course ‘Dealing with Drug and Alcohol Abuse for Managers and Supervisors in Construction Environments’, we examine the detrimental effects of drug and alcohol misuse, both on workers and the businesses that employ them. The course is designed to empower you with knowledge and strategies to establish and maintain a drug and alcohol-free construction site. It’s an alarming fact that one in ten employees struggle with substance misuse. The behavior of a construction worker under the influence can lower productivity, lead to a hostile work environment, and tarnish the company’s reputation. The most severe consequence is the heightened risk of onsite accidents, injuries, and fatalities.<\/p>\n
