It not only meets but surpasses all CSA\/OHS standards for classroom operator safety training certification across all Canadian provinces and territories.<\/p>\n<p>Our courses are of the highest caliber, integrating high-resolution videos with state-of-the-art machine animations and video demonstrations. This approach enhances student engagement and information retention while providing an informative yet entertaining learning experience. To prepare for the final assessment, we provide a few questions after each chapter. Students are granted access to elevated work platform (EWP) specific OHS mandates for every province and territory in Canada, a practical evaluation checklist, and simple instructions for gauging operator competence on the machine throughout the course.<\/p>\n<p>A practical evaluation conducted by a supervisor or authorized person is required to complete the certification process.<\/p>\n<p><b>Aerial Work Platform (AWP) Certification Course Standards<\/b><\/p>\n<p>This course was developed to exceed the requirements for theoretical and written exam preparation as stipulated in:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>CSA norms B354.1, B354.2, and B354.4<\/li>\n<li>ANSI norms A92.3, A92.5, and A92.6<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"title-bar\"><span style=\"font-size: 18.0px; float: none;\">SUJETS DU COURS<\/span><\/div>\n<p>The Aerial Work Platform (AWP) Certification course includes the following topics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Federal and provincial EWP-related legislative requirements for the machine, employees, supervisors, and employers<\/li>\n<li>Machine hazards<\/li>\n<li>Common EWP incidents and accidents<\/li>\n<li>Different types of EWPs<\/li>\n<li>The significance of the operator\u2019s manual<\/li>\n<li>Safety decals<\/li>\n<li>Machine components, controls, and safeguards<\/li>\n<li>Axles<\/li>\n<li>Capacities and stability principles<\/li>\n<li>Envelope management systems<\/li>\n<li>Optimal machine selection<\/li>\n<li>Pre-operational inspections<\/li>\n<li>Function tests<\/li>\n<li>Maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Perils of the hydraulic system<\/li>\n<li>Battery charging\/maintenance<\/li>\n<li>Refueling<\/li>\n<li>Weather safety<\/li>\n<li>Hazard assessment\/mitigation<\/li>\n<li>Rescue planning<\/li>\n<li>Effective communication<\/li>\n<li>EPI<\/li>\n<li>Operating rules<\/li>\n<li>Parking and shutting down<\/li>\n<li>Record keeping<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div class=\"title-bar\"><span style=\"font-size: 18.0px; float: none;\">DUR\u00c9E DU COURS EN LIGNE<\/span><\/div>\n<p>Estimated time of completion is 4 hours<\/p>\n<div class=\"title-bar\"><span style=\"font-size: 18.0px; float: none;\">Note de passage<\/span><\/div>\n<p>The passing grade for this course is 80%.
