COURSE OVERVIEW<\/b><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

The Safety Knowledge Evaluation (SKE) is an online exam, consisting of 10 parts, each focusing on a critical aspect of safety. This comprehensive evaluation is intended not just for individuals but also for organizations seeking to identify specific training needs. Post completion of the Safety Knowledge Evaluation, you’ll be presented with a chapter-wise summary report, highlighting your strong points and the areas that require more attention. Based on this, additional training could be recommended if deemed necessary. <\/p>\n

COURSE TOPICS<\/b><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

WHMIS 2015<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

This chapter of the evaluation will assess your understanding of Canada\u2019s new hazard classification system, WHMIS 2015, including its hazard classes, categories, pictograms, labels, safety data sheets, and responsibilities.<\/p>\n

TRANSPORTATION OF DANGEROUS GOODS (TDG)<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

This chapter of the evaluation will assess your knowledge of the Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Act and its standards for the movement of harmful materials and chemicals within Canada.<\/p>\n

FALL PROTECTION<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

This chapter of the evaluation will assess your understanding of fall protection, working at heights, fall hazards, and how to protect yourself from serious injury or death resulting from a fall.<\/p>\n

CONFINED SPACE ENTRY AND MONITOR<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

This chapter of the evaluation will assess your understanding of confined and restricted spaces, their associated hazards and controls, and tending worker duties as they pertain to the monitoring of personnel working in the confined space.<\/p>\n

HAZARD IDENTIFICATION, ASSESSMENT, AND CONTROL<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

This chapter of the evaluation will assess your knowledge of how you can prevent injuries and illness in the workplace through hazard identification, assessment, and control.<\/p>\n

FIRST AID<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

This chapter of the evaluation will assess your understanding of general first aid requirements and the appropriate response to various injuries and medical emergencies.<\/p>\n

FIRE FIGHTING & FIRE EXTINGUISHER SAFETY<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

This chapter of the evaluation will assess your understanding of fire safety, including how to fight a small fire and proper fire extinguisher use.<\/p>\n

DEFENSIVE DRIVING<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

This chapter of the evaluation will assess your understanding of defensive and safe driving practices, including the six components of the SAFER System of Defensive Driving: Space, Attitude, Foresight, Eyesight, and Responsibility.<\/p>\n

HYDROGEN SULFIDE (H2S)<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

This chapter of the evaluation will assess your knowledge of the procedures and equipment necessary to work safely near or with hydrogen sulphide (H2S).<\/p>\n

GROUND DISTURBANCE FOR SUPERVISORS 201<\/b><\/b><\/p>\n

This chapter of the evaluation will assess your understanding of ground disturbance, including ground disturbance terminology, legislation, regulations, permits, agreements, facilities, and the responsibilities of the various parties involved.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

ONLINE COURSE DURATION<\/b><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

This evaluation must be completed within a 45-minute frame. However, the timer can be paused at any time by exiting the exam and will not restart until you return to the exam.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

PASS MARK<\/b><\/div>\n

<\/p>\n

Upon the completion of this free Safety Knowledge Evaluation, a detailed email summarizing your results by chapter will be sent to you, along with suggestions for additional training if necessary.<\/p>\n
